Vegan recipes UK
Plant based recipes read with UK spelling and UK measures, labelled the same way as everywhere else on this site.
UK coverage
Readers in the UK search for recipes in slightly different words from readers in the US. Rather than build a second site, this page states exactly what we cover today and what we do not, so you can tell the difference before you click.
- Vegan recipes UK — covered by this page: the label system, the spelling conventions and the categories we can fill today.
- Vegan breakfast recipes UK — we do not publish a dedicated page for this yet.
- One pot vegan recipes UK — we do not publish a dedicated page for this yet.
- Vegan air fryer recipes UK — we do not publish a dedicated page for this yet.
- Low FODMAP vegan recipes UK — we do not publish a dedicated page for this yet.
- High protein vegan recipes UK — we do not publish a dedicated page for this yet.
- Vegan Christmas dinner UK — covered by the concept hub once it reaches three published recipes.
Spelling and measures
We keep one page per dish rather than one per spelling. Ingredient names carry both forms in the same vocabulary: aubergine and eggplant resolve to the same ingredient, as do courgette and zucchini. Search finds either spelling, and a recipe is never duplicated to hold both.
Quantities are written in grams and millilitres, with spoons where a spoon is the natural unit. Where a source recipe uses cups, the conversion sits in the ingredient list rather than in a second version of the same dish.
Where to read next
The beginner guide covers the pantry and the first three meals; the labelling rules are the same on every page, UK or otherwise.
