Vegan recipes you can actually trust
Plant based recipes with a dietary-label system that shows what we checked and what we did not.
How our labels work
Every published recipe carries a definite value on seven dietary dimensions: whether it is vegan, whether it contains dairy, egg, alliums, alcohol or honey, and whether it hides an animal ingredient such as fish sauce or rennet. A recipe whose values are unknown is not published at all, so a missing tag is never presented as a clean one.
Some questions do not fit that gate — gluten, soy, nuts, oil, low-FODMAP and weight loss are not purity dimensions. Those are written as a soft tag instead, in the formtagged gluten-free. A soft tag is applied by our editors from the listed ingredients and is presented differently from the seven-dimension result, so the two kinds of statement never look alike on the page.

What we publish
A category hub only opens for indexing once it holds at least three published recipes. Below that the hub still exists for anyone who follows a link to it, but it stays out of search until the catalogue catches up.
We do not pad a hub with drafts to reach that point, and we do not create a page just to hold a phrase. If a category cannot be filled yet, it stays closed.
